MTD Prime Sdn Bhd - a wholly-owned subsidiary of MTD InfraPerdana
Bhd (a company listed on the Main Board of Bursa Malaysia Securities
Bhd) is the tolling concessionaire for the Kuala Lumpur - Karak
Highway (KLK) and its extension, the East Coast Expressway Phase
1 (ECE1). The 60 km KLK is the main thoroughfare connecting the
Klang Valley and Karak Town whilst the 174km ECE 1 begins from
Karak to Jabur. Eventually, ECE will form a seamless connection
between the Klang Valley and the state of Terengganu upon completion
of ECE Phase 2.
Today, ECE Makes travelling to your destinations to the east
coast easier. An estimated travelling time of approximately 2
hours (from Gombak in Klang Valley to Kuantan), you can be assured
of a shorter and comfortable drive.

Places of Interest
Genting Highlands [EXIT 803]
The most developed of the hill resorts. The perfect escape
for those seeking relaxation and entertainment in a cool mountain
setting.
Bukit Tinggi [EXIT 805]
A hill retreat with cool, fresh country air. You can take
long invigorating walks, play golf, swim or head for the all-year
popular 'Genting Highlands'.
Chamang Waterfall [EXIT 810]
Close proximity to Bentong town centre, the Chamang waterfall
known as "lovers falls" to locals - is a series of cascading
waters.
Elephant Sanctuary [EXIT 816]
Established in 1989 as a base for elephant
relocation. The centre aims to educate people about the importance
of habitat environment.
Jenderak Seladang & Deer Captive Breeding Centre [EXIT
819]
The seladang captive-breeding centre was opened in 1982
to provide a sanctuary for the protection of the species which
the Malaysian government classified as 'vulnerable'. The seladang
(wild cattle) is Malaysia's second largest mammal.
Gunung Senyum Recreational Forest [EXIT
819]
First opened as a 'recreational forest' in 1989 covers
an area of 794 hectares. It offers an attractive and unique landscapes
like mysterious caves to explore as well as jungle trails to follow.
Taman Negara [EXIT 819]
Overlooking the Tembeling and Tahan rivers, Taman Negara
Resort offers endless attractions for the adventurer. Modern facilities
and services includes a medical clinic and a mini-market.
Lake Chini [EXIT 827]
12,565 acres of lush tropical wilderness. Tasik Chini,
Malaysia's 2nd largest natural lake, boasts of its scenic and vast
tranquil environment.
Agro Resort Sg. Semuji [EXIT 830]
The resort offers a holiday of tranquility and fun in
the midst of tropical wilderness. Here you will be happy to find
modern-day conveniences with a leisure pursuit of nature. 'Durian
Waiting' season is undoubtedly the popular choice.
Gunung Tapis Park [EXIT 830]
Only 16km from Sungai Lembing the park offers excellent
camping spots and activities like hot springs, rapids and fishing.
Sungai Lembing Town [EXIT 833]
A quiet tin-mining settlement of a bygone era where visitors
can still catch a glimpse of its past glories - the tree-lined
town square, the solitary letter box of British descent, a four-wheel
coach that was once a pride of the town and a restaurant once popularised
by tin miners.
Telok Chempedak [EXIT 833]
An excellent beach for water sports like sailing, surfing,
jet-skiing and sunbathing.
Balok Beach [EXIT

A paradise for avid wind-surfers. The annual wind surfing regatta,
the Kuantan Challenge is held here.
Cherating [EXIT
833]
'Club Med' open its first asian venture here. At Cherating you
can find gentle sloping sandy beaches, lined with casuarina
trees extend as far as the eyes can see.
Cherating Turtle Sanctuary [EXIT
833]
Pantai Chendor is the turtle hatching site where you'll find
huge leather-back turtles coming ashore to lay their eggs.
Tioman Island [EXIT
833]
Malaysia's 3rd largest offshore island with a spectacular natural
heritage. A magnificent Island with a treasure trove of marine
life. Tioman has been gazetted as a marine park.
