The Board of Directors of MTD InfraPerdana Bhd ("the Company") wishes to announce that the Company proposes to seek the approval of its shareholders for the proposed renewal of authority for the Company to purchase its own shares.

The present mandate for the share buy-back granted by the shareholders of the Company at the Annual General Meeting held on 21 September 2006 shall, subject to the renewal, expire at the conclusion of the forthcoming Annual General Meeting.

A Statement to shareholders containing the details of the above proposal will be despatched to shareholders together with 2007 Annual Report of the Company.
