Bursa Malaysia Announcement

We refer to Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad's ("Bursa Malaysia") query letter dated 31 July 2007 in relation to the above article which appeared in The Star, Starbiz section, page B5, on Tuesday, 31 July 2007 in particular to the following statements:-

"The MTD group may make another write-back of provisions...."

"The amount of the write-back would be in the region of RM40mil..."

MTD InfraPerdana Bhd ("the Company") wishes to clarify that the Company is not involved in the Bakun Dam Project. Therefore, the write back of provisions or write-back of amount of RM40 million is not relevant to the Company.

This announcement is dated 1 August 2007.
